Critical Commentary
This photo was taken at an Eastvale, CA construction site where a new fulfillme nt and distribution warehouse is being built (2018). Such warehouses are being erected across the Inland Empire coinciding with a boom in support infrastructure for online commerce, particularly for the consumer base along the California coast. Jobs at these warehouses are quickly becoming some of the few available to working-class peoples in the area.
